Effects of Meditation on Memory
The meditation is always an object of study in science and this time it was discovered that can help improve visual memory, according to a new study suggests.

For their research, scientists resorted to two types of Buddhist meditation, one in which participants focus on an image of God and one in which the participants during the focus should avoid distracting your attention any image in the process.
In a series of experiments, both types of meditation were performed by professionals who participated in the work and tested their visual memory (eg, the ability to maintain an image in memory and then identify, among other images below).
After finishing his first round of work, professionals meditated for a period of 20 minutes, while the other control group, no meditator rested, and both groups completed a second round of tasks.
The results of the study showed that all participants meditators achieved similar results in the first round of tasks, but in the second round, the practitioners who are focused on an image had a marked difference in the performance of your memory, making it more efficient.
According to the authors of the study through these results is determined that meditation can be a real promise in the treatment of memory loss.
