Sibutramine (Reductil) and their side effects
The Sibutramine is a medication prescribed by doctors for the reduction of body weight, when assessing the health condition warrants, but like any medication can have side effects.

Who should not take Sibutramine?
You should not take sibutramine if you have: high blood pressure, heart disease, heart failure, peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmias (abnormal heart rhythm) or have had a stroke.
Pregnancy: No adequate studies have been performed sibutramine in women pregnant, so the use of sibutramine during pregnancy is not recommended.
Lactation: It is not known whether sibutramine or its active products accumulate in breast milk, therefore not recommended for nursing mothers.
Side effects:
In general, sibutramine is well tolerated, common side effects were constipation, insomnia, headache and dry mouth.
Other side effects include abdominal pain, acne, rash, chest pain, anxiety, joint pain, back pain, excitement, depression, sweating, dizziness, drowsiness, changes in taste, irregular and painful periods, influenza, increased cough, muscle pain, nausea, vomiting, neck pain, nervousness, palpitations, tingling in extremities, sore throat and nasal congestion.
Abnormal liver function tests have been reported in 1 in 60 people receiving sibutramine.
